Nice afternoon, but where are the trout?

The river was in good shape in spite of the almost daily rain we've been experiencing. The trout were not very active though. I enjoyed a few splashy refusals on stimulators, but caught none. Isonychias have started. I counted a number of duns after 6:00, but the trout didn't seem to know about it yet.

Fortunately, the fishin is always good, even when the catchin is slow. Nice day out.
